Tokuda Hospital Sofia http://www.tokudabolnica.bg is the first international venture of the Tokushukai Medical Corporation, which is the world’s largest medical service provider with over 280 medical facilities operating in Japan and one general hospital here in the capital city of Bulgaria, Sofia.
Sofia won the hospital project despite strong competition from other cosmopolitan cities such as Moscow, Seoul, Warsaw, Belgrade, and Bucharest.
The owner, Dr. Tokuda, is a man who achieved his childhood dreams to become a doctor and help his fellow man by following his motto is “All Living Beings Are Created Equal”.
Today, Dr. Tokuda is a Japanese Parliament member, the owner of the Tokushukai Medical Corporation (TMC) and the sole investor in the “Tokuda Hospital Sofia”, and the prime stock holder in Tokuda Bank AD (PLC).
He is also an advocate of social issues, a writer, and philosopher. His social activism is focused towards improving the level of medical care especially from the patients perspective including; medical ethics, doctor patient relationships, and the continuous improvement of medical service.

All of the medical departments offer hospital rooms designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience for our patients. The patient has the option to decide whether they prefer a private, single, or 4 person room.
Each room has central heating and air-conditioning with individual thermostat controls, a patient intercom connected to the nurses and attending doctors, oxygen therapy, vacuum system, and a fully adjustable electronically controlled hospital bed.
The hospital room options are the following:
• 4 person room- standard which is included in the medical service fees
• Single room- for an additional charge payable at the central registration
• Single Private Room- for an additional charge payable at the central registration
The single private room is designed to with the idea of maximum comfort for the patient, the room includes cable television, telephone, wireless internet access, a small lounge area to receive your guests within the hospital room, a mini-kitchen range-top, mini-refrigerator, sink and all the amenties of home.
